We would also like to express our great gratitude to Arturo Castaneda. Through his web page, which has been up since 1996 until May of this year, Milpillas was given the opportunity to be known worldwide. With this, we believe Milpillas de Allende will pass on to history as one of the first Mexican towns to ever have their presence known through the internet. (This web page was first published in 1996, and in 8 years it has been visited 19,000 times.)
We invite you to visit the Milpillas web page at its new address, which is: www.milpillas.com. In this site you will be able to find the newsletter and much more information. We ask you to be patient, since we are gradually improving. If you want to help, you are more than welcome to.
We are soliciting volunteers to translate the newsletter from spanish to english. If anyone is interested please contact any member of the Board of Directors as soon as possible.
We would like to invite you to our next event, which will take place in the city of Paramount, in the home of Ana And Roque Castaneda. This is where we will be celebrating our 2nd Anniversary
We have been informed that on July 17th we will be receiving a visit from a beloved teacher to our community. He is Professor Salvador Barrera. We hope you can be there and have a chance to greet him.
We would like for you to continue your support like you have been doing in the past. We have noticed your absence in some events. We invite you to support all the events, no matter where they are held. You don’t have to wait until they take place in your area. The proceeds go to the same funds and we are all from the same community.
