October del 2004
We send our best wishes and hope that you are spending this time surrounded by all your loved ones.

On October 2nd, 2004 we had our most recent gathering. It took place in the community of Fallbrook in the home of Lucio and Veronica Mendez. We were very glad to see everyone from that city, since most attended the event, helped out, and made all of us feel at home. Thank you!

There were a great variety of dishes such as: delicious shrimp cocktails, chiles rellenos (stuffed peppers), pozole (hominy and pork stew), nachos, hot dogs, delicious beef and corn tamales, flautas (fried taquitos), champurrado (hot chocolate drink), gorditas filled with cactus, pork rinds in green and red chili sause, chicken and rice... all made to each customers' order. Many kept returning for more! There were also natural juices made from jamaica, rice, and tamarindo. Also available were fruit cocktails, capirotada and ice cream.

The total amount raised at this event was $2,661.00. It is the most that has been raised at any event this year. We want to thank everyone for their help, everyone that cooked, all that donated items for the raffle, everyone that donated drinks, everyone that attended, and all for their time and effort in making this event a great success. Thank you all!

We'd especially like to thank Lucio and Veronica Mendez for allowing us into their home. Thank you!

We'd like to inform all that it's official-the club will sponsor the public restrooms that will be built in Milpillas. Hopefully, they'll be completed as soon as possible since they're so necessary.
